Toddlers love rocking toys, no doubt about that.

As simple as the toys look, they are boatloads of benefits for the little ones. Like most ride-on toys, they help in honing a child’s sense of balance and motor skills.
They are also a sure way to let your child expend some of the excess energy kids are known for.

This is a sturdy, easy-to-assemble and beautifully designed riding horse by Happy Trails.
The playset is cute but cheaply made and stands on sturdy wooden rockers that could be sturdier and more put together.
It is not a ready for use product, as it requires assembly. It is fairly easy to assemble and the saddle which is not removable, does not lie perfectly smooth.
The rockers seem pretty short and the stirrups may not be suitable for your kid to use as they are attached by a thin strap to the not-too-strong saddle.
All in all, the Happy Trails ride-on playset is affordable, adorable and fun to rock.
Rockin’ Rider Legacy Grow-with-me Pony
This rocking play horse by Tek Nek is excellent for a two years old kid. It is well built and sturdy but not quite easy to assemble.
The toy is uniquely designed to rock or bounce (not too intense), though the rocking effect may be better for older kids.
When the ears are pressed, the fun sound effects, talking effects, and rhymes are activated and your kid can happily sing along.
The saddle is removable and there is the issue of the screws not fitting into the holes because the pre-drilled holes in the toy seem bigger than the screws.
Rockin’ Rider play horse is fairly easy to climb on as well as come off with little or no assistance.
Radio Flyer Blaze Interactive Riding Horse
Blaze is a realistic-looking play horse that features life-like sounds. The set comes with a carrot accessory of which when fed to the horse, triggers the chewing sound.
There is also a comb accessory for grooming the horse’s soft yarn mane.

It is all together except the wooden legs and stirrups which are detachable and require assembling.
It is low enough to the ground so that a 2 years old can easily play with it and there is no issue of the pegs not being able to align with the holes.
